"This contest prior to the ultimate challenge. All the work is done. Training is wrapped up. The grueling sessions is put in. Time for some rest now. Big night ahead," he continued.
Spitalfields Market in London's east end saw not just typical items on the scales as the both boxers faced off for the final time ahead of the bout.
Joseph Parker flashed a wink at the lenses and swayed along to the music.
As he flexed his muscles, he appeared imposing and forceful as he registered at 18st 10lb, just five pounds lighter than his heaviest ever.
This represents a far cry from the 107 kg iteration who lost his belt to AJ in 2018.
"We are cautious, we are careful, but I will to respond with equal force and I'm going to get him," Parker declared.

Wardley, wearing an Ipswich top, maintained a straight face, acknowledged the crowd, but appeared concentrated.
He may be the less heavy fighter, Wardley has exceptional KO strength. He staged a thrilling recovery against his opponent in last June, behind on the official tallies before stopping his foe in the final round although being outboxed for most of the bout.
"His opponent, his corner and boxing fans will learn I am destined to be at the top of this division," Fabio Wardley said.
"Each rival has been the fighter pundits say will defeat me. Here we are again. He's exceptional pace, rapid, vastly experienced. But My record is perfect yet, and no one will shift in the ring."
