A man who passed away in a aircraft accident in that region on Thursday has been revealed by his relatives as the deceased, at the age of 70.

The person flying, aged 41, and another two passengers on board, an adult woman and a boy, ten years old, suffered non-critical harm.

In a message issued by authorities, the family characterized Mr Smith as "a cherished husband, father and granddad" and mentioned they were "all overwhelmed by this tragic loss".

"He had an authentic enthusiasm for flying, and this was a hobby he bonded over with his family," they continued.

"Peter especially enjoyed to share moments with his young relatives making things and playing. He was a devoted father figure who allocated much of his time with his son, both collaborating and personally. The husband enjoyed to have meals out with his spouse and had an especially fondness for sweets."

The aircraft had departed from that airport, in the region, only a little before it experienced an accident in the Doncaster district of that location, off Ings Lane, shortly after ten o'clock GMT.

Authorities from investigative bodies have initiated a combined investigation into the incident.

In the message, the family mentioned they were supporting the investigation and requested people "to avoid speculate on the factors involved in the crash".

"We all would like to ask for space during this incredibly hard time to permit us to process what has transpired and mourn for the death of him," they stated.

A spokesperson for the investigative body stated a team of specialists in flight activities, technical aspects and flight information had been sent to the scene on the day of the incident.

The aircraft is understood to have been managed by an operator situated at that airfield. The organization announced it would "persist in assist" the authorities participating in the probe into the incident.

The company, which according to its digital platform supplies aviation training and adventures, said in a update on online platforms: "In this very difficult moment every one of our considerations and prayers are with the relatives and friends of all those involved in the aircraft accident which occurred recently."
