Paratici Comes Back to Spurs After Two-and-a-Half-Year FIFA Suspension
Spurs have confirmed that Paratici will resume his role as director of sport after a 30-month suspension by FIFA.
Previous coverage indicated that discussions were taking place regarding his potential comeback to the club.
He will now serve as co-sporting director alongside Johan Lange, overseeing Tottenham's men's football strategy, including performance development, scouting, and player recruitment.
Paratici resigned from his post in 2023 after his challenge against the suspension for financial irregularities was rejected by Italy's top sports tribunal.
His suspension stemmed from issues at Juventus, where Paratici previously held the roles of managing director and sporting director before joining Spurs in 2021.
The club was determined to be at fault of false accounting, leading to a 10-point deduction in the Italian league.
Last month, a judge in the Italian capital accepted a negotiated settlement request from Paratici and other former executives from Juventus, which means he will avoid an 18-month prison sentence.
In Italy, settlement agreements do not involve an acknowledgment of wrongdoing or acceptance of liability.

Spurs will complete their revised management team by hiring a football operations director to work alongside Lange and Paratici.
In the interim, the club's women's team will remain under the direct control of Venkatesham.
