Swedish Selection Reveal: Isak Included While Gyokeres Omitted

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres has been omitted from the new manager's initial Swedish national team selection, whereas Reds striker Alexander Isak has earned selection
The Arsenal forward is set for further assessments this week following worries of a hamstring injury during the Gunners's English top flight triumph against Burnley last weekend
The 27-year-old sat out Arsenal' European victory against Slavia Prague on Tuesday
Isak Makes Comeback
Isak, who hasn't featured since 22 October owing to a groin injury, made the squad to play in World Cup qualifying fixtures against Switzerland (15 November) and the Slovenian side (18 November)

- Magpies winger the Swedish international
Both athletes were included in Potter's Premier League contingent chosen by ex- Brighton, Chelsea and West Ham manager Graham Potter
Potter's Role
Potter took over the Swedish federation initially for an interim period on 20 October, less than four weeks after leaving by West Ham
Previous manager Jon Dahl Tomasson lost his job after Sweden's defeat to Kosovo on 13 October, a result that ended straight qualification from qualifying group unattainable
Present Standing
The Swedish team are currently bottom in their qualifying group having only a single point in their opening four games
Should they don't manage to finish second, they could still participate in the qualification playoffs due to of their performance in the latest UEFA competition
